It’s always interesting reviewing the search phrases that folks use on Google and Yahoo that ultimately get them to this site. The one that stands out most recently:
questions about florida property taxes paying in the rears
While it is a pain in the rear to pay property taxes, we actually pay them in ARREARS, meaning that they are usually paid after they are due. Property taxes are assessed as of January 1 of each year and are normally due and payable on November 1 of that year. They must be paid before April 1st of the following year, and discounts are given for paying them early. The earlier they are paid, the bigger the discount.
So now that we have that cleared up, here are a few other interesting search phrases:

275 bayshore blvd tampa florida condos
Parkside of One Bayshore was a recent addition to the (near) downtown Tampa skyline, and won the Best Highrise Community award for 2007 from the National Association of Home Builders. Rumor has it that their retail space on the first floor will finally be getting a well-known tenant. Check them out.

No way to generalize an answer to this one. Runs the gamut from less than $100/sqft to well over $500/sqft depending on the property type, location, etc.

tampa florida homes for sale with a tile roof
Roofs are important to Tampa home buyers and many of them want tile roofs. The great thing about our MLS is that roof type is a field in the listing database. Looking for a home with a tile roof? Give us a call, we can find them.
seller of home will not let buyer inspect knob and tube
I’d be highly suspicious of that seller. Another reason to have a good agent on your side if you’re a buyer. If your home inspection finds this stuff and you have no out, or can’t ask the seller to pay for replacing it, you may be kissing your deposit goodbye. See: Please Nix The Knob & Tube…

florida seller agent and buyer agent same
Florida does allow this type of representation. Many states allow “dual-agencyâ€, in which a single agent can represent both parties in a real estate transaction. However Florida allows a “transaction brokerage†in which a single agent or single brokerage firm can work with both seller and buyer to facilitate the transaction. But neither party gets full representation. Can you see the conflict here? Many do not. The agent has to stay in the middle and provide a limited form of representation. Both parties must give up their right to single agency representation. Related Info

how to access the real mls for tampa florida
IDX, or internet data exchange, allows all agents or brokerage firms to list MLS listings on their own websites. So in effect, you can search the Tampa MLS here. But the data is (are?) very limited and you cannot assume that all listings are available. It is possible that some firms or agents do not want to share their listings through IDX. Don’t assume you’re seeing it all unless you are working with an agent who has access to the real MLS. Our MLS does not yet support a public side of the database.
